The KIPMONT KPR HYBRID 4” 4-Step Flexible Diamond Polishing Pad Set includes four pads: P0, P1, P2 and P3, providing a 4-step alternative to the traditional 7-step polishing system while maintaining a professional polished finish.
Suitable for quartz, granite, marble, engineered stone, concrete, terrazzo, porcelain, ceramic tile and many other natural and engineered stone materials.
The flexible pads conform to flat surfaces as well as eased edges, bullnose edges and other rounded profiles, making them suitable for countertop fabrication and general stone finishing applications.
The Hook & Loop backing allows fast pad changes, making it easy to switch between polishing steps.
The light-colored pad design is suitable for both light-colored and dark-colored stone without the risk of color transfer.
The pads can be used wet or dry. Wet polishing is recommended whenever practical for improved polishing performance and longer pad life.
For the best results, use a variable-speed angle grinder or polisher. Recommended Speed: 2,000–4,000 RPM. Lower speeds generally produce better polishing results, especially with P3.
HOW TO
Before polishing, make sure the Hook & Loop backing pad is securely installed on the tool, then attach the polishing pad firmly. For newly fabricated surfaces, prepare the surface first and level it with a diamond grinding wheel. Once the surface is even, polish with P0, P1, P2 and P3 in sequence. For restoring dull or worn areas, simply use P1, P2 and P3.
Keep the pad moving with smooth, even passes and avoid staying in one area for too long. Let the diamonds do the work rather than forcing the tool. Wipe the surface clean before moving to the next polishing step.
Always wear safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask or respirator while polishing. Follow all safety instructions provided by the power tool manufacturer.
