- 3"× 2" COARSE GRIT 30/40 – Vacuum brazed diamond drum grinding wheel designed for aggressive grinding and fast material removal. The larger 3-inch grinding surface covers more area per pass, making it well suited for larger cutouts and fabrication work.
- FAST EDGE SHAPING & LEVELING – Smooth rough cut edges, remove high spots left by contour blades, level uneven areas, and shape inside curves. Ideal for sink cutouts, large holes, inside edges, countertop fabrication, edge repair, remodeling, outdoor kitchens, and BBQ islands.
- VACUUM BRAZED DIAMOND WITH DEPTH CONTROL BEARING – Durable diamond surface delivers consistent grinding performance. The CNC-machined steel body provides strength and durability, while the integrated bearing helps maintain consistent grinding depth and reduce over-cutting.
- 5/8"-11 THREAD • WET OR DRY – Directly fits most standard angle grinders with a 5/8"-11 spindle. Suitable for granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain tile, concrete, flagstone, and many other natural materials.
- SMOOTH, CONTROLLED GRINDING – Use smooth, even passes with light, steady pressure and let the diamond do the work. After coarse grinding, follow with polishing pads to achieve the desired finish.
KIPMONT Diamond Drum Grinding Wheels are designed to smooth out cut edges, level uneven edges, and round out inside corners after rough cutting. Ideal for sink cutouts, large holes, inside edges, countertop fabrication, edge repair, remodeling, outdoor kitchens, BBQ islands, and other stone fabrication projects. Suitable for granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain tile, concrete, flagstone, and many others.
With Vacuum Brazed Technology, KIPMONT Grinding Wheels cut fast, take off high spots left behind after rough cutting, and get the edge ready for polishing. The CNC-machined steel body provides strength and durability, while the integrated bearing helps maintain consistent grinding depth and helps prevent over-cutting. The standard 5/8”-11 thread fits most angle grinders, making it easy to work in the shop or on the job site using the tools you already own. Available in 2”×2” and 3”×2” sizes. The 2” wheel provides better control for tighter inside corners and smaller sink cutouts. The 3” wheel covers a larger grinding area, making it ideal for long inside edges, larger cutouts, and faster material removal while maintaining a smooth, consistent surface.
The wheel can be used wet or dry. Wet grinding helps reduce heat, dust, and cleanup. Operate at a speed that provides smooth operation and good control. Noticeable vibration usually means the speed is too high or the tool is not being held securely. For most materials, the coarse-grit wheel is followed by polishing pads. For harder materials, the coarse-grit wheel can also be followed by a medium-grit wheel before polishing to create a smoother pre-polish surface and reduce polishing time. For deeper holes, run the bearing around the already-ground surface and continue working deeper as needed.
Securely install the wheel before use. Move with smooth, even passes and use light, steady pressure. Let the diamond do the work. Do not force the tool.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and a suitable dust mask or respirator.
