• 1/2" DEMI BULLNOSE PROFILE – Creates a precise 1/2" Demi Bullnose (Half Bullnose / Roundover) edge profile with a rounded top and flat bottom, ready for polishing. Designed to further refine the edge profile and create a smoother surface after coarse shaping, helping improve finishing efficiency before polishing.
• USE YOUR EXISTING ANGLE GRINDER – No dedicated profiling machine required. Do the job on-site using tools you already own.
• VACUUM BRAZED DIAMOND TECHNOLOGY – Fast shaping, aggressive material removal and long-lasting performance.
• NYLON GUIDE & DEPTH CONTROL BEARING – Nylon guide helps guide the tool without scratching the stone, while the bearing helps control cutting depth and prevent over-cutting.
• CNC-MACHINED STEEL BODY – Won’t lose its shape during use.
KIPMONT Diamond Hand Profile Wheels are designed to create the most commonly used countertop edge profiles, including demi bullnose (half bullnose), full bullnose, beveled, ogee, straight (square), and eased edges. They are suitable for a wide range of materials, including quartz, granite, marble, engineered stone, porcelain, concrete, limestone, travertine, bluestone, and many others.
Typical applications include shaping and profiling countertop edges, sink cutouts, vanity tops, shower curbs, pool coping, wall caps, stair nosings and many other stone fabrication projects. They can also be used to create laminated and built-up countertop edges that achieve the thick-edge look, and are equally suitable for new fabrication, edge repair and modification work commonly found in kitchen remodeling and renovation projects.
The wheels fit most angle grinders and polishers with a standard 5/8”-11 thread spindle, allowing users to work on-site using their existing tools without the need for dedicated profiling equipment. Even users with limited experience can create professional edge profiles. Suitable for countertop fabricators, installers, contractors, remodelers, stone professionals, and DIY users.
Vacuum brazed diamond technology provides fast shaping and long service life. The CNC-machined steel body maintains its shape during use for accurate profiling. The nylon guide helps the wheel follow the stone surface smoothly, creating a consistent profile without scratching the stone, while the built-in bearing helps control cutting depth and prevent over-cutting.
To begin, securely install the profile wheel onto the machine spindle. Keep the nylon guide firmly against the stone surface at all times. Keep the hand profiler against the edge. Move with smooth, even passes along the edge for the best results. Do not force the tool. Use light pressure and let the tool do the work.
In most applications, the coarse-grit wheel is followed by polishing. A medium-grit wheel can also be used after coarse shaping to further refine the edge profile and create a smoother surface before polishing. It is particularly helpful when working with harder materials, where it can improve the efficiency of the finishing process. For certain specialty applications where a polished finish is not required, a medium-grit finish may already provide the desired surface appearance.
The wheels can be used wet or dry. A small amount of water is recommended to reduce heat and dust.Run the tool at a speed that provides smooth operation and good control. Excessive vibration is a sign that the speed may be too high.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask.
